Librarian, writer (D. 5 October 1888, Eyup - Istanbul. 1968). Graduated from Galatasaray High School. Sanayi Nefise Mektebi (Fine Art) At the beginning of World War I recruited. He was taken prisoner during the war and taken to India. On his return to Istanbul He started teaching French. Sent from Paris (1925) he studied library science. From his return to his retirement (1957) He worked as the Director of Istanbul University Library. After retiring, until one year before the death of the Topkapi Palace libraries manuscript |
