كشف الظنون عن أسامي الكتب والفنون (2/ 1073)
وقد ألف الإمام أبو محمد: عبد الله بن بري: حواشي على (الصحاح). ووصل فيها: إلى أثناء حرف الشين. قيل: سماها: (التنبيه والإفصاح عما وقع من الوهم في كتاب الصحاح).وهو: أجود تأليفه. وكان أستاذه: علي بن جعفر بن القطاع، ابتدأها. وبنى: ابن بري، على ما كتب ابن القطاع. أقول: وتوفي: ابن بري في سنة 582، اثنتين وثمانين وخمسمائة. واسم الحاشية: (الإيضاح). قال الصفدي: وصل إلى: ومش، وهو ربع الكتاب.
